While addressing media one member said,"We have requested the Chief Minister, Education minister and other leaders in earlier time also to promote all the students of the state without taking exam. As it is a very crucial time for everyone where having two meals a day seems a bit problem to many, how will they take care of their studies in such situation. If the Government of Punjab can promote all their students into next level, why can't Tripura government do the same? We need the answer from Education Minister, and so we sit in agitation today. And we will keep sitting here till he comes out and talk with us."
A huge number of police and TSR came into the spot and tried to break the agitation forcefully.
