KHOWAI, July 7 (TIWN): On 04 Jul 2020, Agartala battalion under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) distributed Umbrellas and Tarpaulins to needy people to counter the monsoons. The distribution of umbrellas was organised at Ganki Village, District - Khowai, Tripura.
The unit distributed umbrellas and Tarpaulins to the locals to enable them to protect themselves against the incessant rains. 100 locals were provided assistance by the Assam Rifles unit.
The event was organised while following all safety protocols against COVID-19 pandemic.
