AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): On the agitation row on Dabi Diwas, Tripura former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has stated that people are no more afraid about BJP Govt in Tripura.
“Earlier, people were afraid to come out of home in fear of the party’s attack, but now they are ready to face any consequence but coming out. It means, the level of tolerance have been crossed”, said Manik Sarkar.
CPI-M observed Dabi Diwas across Tripura on Tuesday and in Agartala the protest was led by Manik Sarkar.
CPI-M’s protest was as a part of protest against fuel price hikes, privatization of coal sectors and other issues.
Also financial supports to poor people were demanded by the Left parties and they raised voice against anti-labour laws which are being enacted under the Modi Govt.
