AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): 'All Tripura Govt Doctors Association' filed FIR against a person for claiming Tripura's COVID-19 Patients are actually Malaria Patients.

The FIR was filed against one Dayal Hari Debnath and Doctors have demanded a strict action against him.

Addressing media, Dr said, “We Doctors are working day night to fight against COVID-19 and to insult us, a sections of people are posting against us. They all want to break our confidence. They claim that the patients who were tested COVID-19 positive from BSF Bn are not actually COVID-patients, rather they are malaria patients. We are feeling very insulted. Thus, we demand strict action against Dayala Hari Debnath”.

Recently, Tripura Congress President Pijush Biswas sought BSF’s COVID-19 report to be broadcasted in public as such news in social media has created panic in the state.
