AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): Tripura's terminated 10323 teachers have demanded alternative Govt jobs, reminding the BJP Govt what they promised before Assembly Election 2018. With the demand they staged a protest in Agartala, along with starting a fresh social media movement as a reminder to the BJP Govt what it had promised before the election to the former teachers. The protest was staged by ‘Amra 10323’ and due to lockdown and COVID-19 outbreak, as they could not gather in protest, thus a digital mode of protest was also initiated by the teachers. Addressing media, a teacher said, “We have only one intention which is to let the Govt to know about our pathetic conditions, through which were going since our jobs are gone on 31st March. We are getting massive response from across the state. All are trying to take the issue to the Govt. Our demands are two : 1) Govt, give our jobs back, 2) Govt, please fulfill your promisesâ€.
“Govt must understand our economic conditions and how we are passing days in crisis”, said a teacher.
