AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): As Tripura Education Dept has taken initiative to translate NCERT book in Bengali and already printed, due to lockdown, Tripura Govt will distribute these books free this year among the private Bengali medium schools.
Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that in case of private English Medium schools, it was not possible as various schools are following various books but if any school is following same text books, then Govt will see the matter.
In an announcement Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that first ever Tripura as a state has translated NCERT books into Bengali, whereas earlier only NCERT books were available in Urdu, English and Hindi.
Also, Tripura Govt has started printing of NCERT books in state to reduce the costs under a single publisher.
