AGARTALA, May 7 (TIWN): Reacting over the controversy about GB hospital’s quarantine centre and probable infection spreads, Addl Chief Secretary S K Rakesh has said that GB hospital’s OPD is completely safe.

He said that there is no chance of infection from COVID19 in the OPD and chances of infection is just zero. Rakesh said that while addressing media at Secretariat today evening.

“Unless a person is going inside the quarantine building or contracting any positive person, there is absolutely no chance for such infection GB is the biggest hospital. It can’t be sealed, specially when there is no threat of virus spread”, the officer added.
