‘Tripura private schools will not hike fees this year’ : Education Minister

AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): In a media interaction, Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that the private schools will not hike the fees this year.
Due to COVID19 lockdown, this decision was taken.
The Minister today visited 15 private schools and held meetings.
He said that instead of increasing fees, it will be watched that the fees in various sectors like bus fare etc can be minimized.
Fees can not be totally relaxed as staffs and teachers have to be paid off their salaries and also various monthly basic expenditure remain in each institution.
