AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): Purvaudaya NGO has been continuing distribution of rations among thousand families along with breakfast, food for children and mask distribution programmes.

Today amid rainy weather also, the distribution programmes continued. Home Dept officials helped Purvaudaya NGO to distribute foods.

When statewide, dry ration packets comprised of rice, daal, oil etc, whereas cooked items are also served, everyday breakfasts are given to the identified needy areas. Today also same was done.

The NGO earlier was seen distributing food items among children in various parts of the state. Also via AMC, masks, sarees were distributed among the public.

Purvaudaya NGO General Secretary Niti Deb, W/O-CM Biplab Deb also cooks every evening to supply cooked food items to needy people.
