AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Agartala’s top narcotic mafia Ramu Saha was sent to 7 days police remands by West Tripura District court’s Additional District Judge.
Senior Advocate Biswajit Deb said, Ramu Saha who was arrested on yesterday was produced before the court with enough evidences today before the Additional District judge. Case registered against him in East Agartala PS with Case No - 68 of 2020 / US 21C, 29 of NDPS Act.

On 11th May he will be reproduced before court after interrogation.
The Narcotics smuggler Ramu Saha was arrested by East Agartala Police on yesterday night after searches. He was wanted in an NDPS case registered in East PS since 30th April, from police seized huge numbers of contraband items from his home and godown at Masjid Patti.
Ramu Saha is a drug mafia of Agartala deals with illegal Phensedyl and drug tablets, said a source.
On 30th April 41,472 drug tablets were seized from his Masjid Patti Godown. Police conducted search in his Shiv Nagar house and seized huge quantity of illegal storage of medicine. Drug controller registered separate case under Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
