AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has demanded CBI probe in BSF’s 14 jawan’s COVID19 positive testing.
Addressing media, Congress President Pijush Biswas expressed concerns about whether any illegal entry form Bangladesh happened recently and came in contact with the BSF jawans, as the BSF jawans were all in state from a long time and question does not arise that the virus came from other states.
Biswas also raised question on BSF’s role who allegedly filed a false case against a journalist recently for covering illegal trade over borders.
Pijush Biswas also said, from various sources it has been known that illegal entries are continuing in state via Indo-Bangla border.
Thus, Congress has demanded a CBI probe in that whole case.
Total 14 BSF Jawans were tested positive in Tripura's Ambassa 138 Bn camp. State Govt is yet clueless about the virus’s primary source, as the jawans were residing in this state only.
