AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): On 18 Apr 2020, the Assam Rifles in conjunction with civil administration distributed Free Rations and reusable masks made by jawans of Assam Rifles. The distribution of Rations and reusable masks was done in Agartala, West Tripura District.

The masks  and rations were distributed to Anvesha Orphanage Agartala and  Sree Ma Roti foundation, Agartala. The distribution of masks and Rations was undertaken under the aegis of 21 Sector Assam Rifles part of IGAR (East) as part of Operation Namaste  to assist the locals and children in combating COVID-19 Pandemic.
