AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 3 (TIWN): Out of 72 Delhi's Nizamuddin returnees, 54 persons were tested negative whereas the second round of tests have also been done but the report will come to media by tomorrow.
Addressing media, Health Secretary Debasish Basu said, today total 161 persons were tested (including Nizamuddin returners) and all are found negative. Total 54 Nizamuddin returnees were also tested who are in quarantine. However, they are 72 in total including relatives and area’s people but 54 persons till now got their results as "Negative". By tomorrow all the Nizamuddin returning people’s tests results will come out.
“From yesterday the Nizamuddin issue created a tension and Govt identified 72 persons as COVID-19 suspected, sent in quarantine. In the first round of sample of 54 persons, all resulted negative and today also second round of tests were done and the reports will be given tomorrow", said Health Secretary Debasish Basu.
