Medical team of Assam Rifles alongwith doctors from PHC provided medical treatment and counseling to approx 340 locals comprising of 143 male, 138 female and 59 children who reached camp from remote villages. Interior parts of Tripura have limited medical facilities, in view of which Assam Rifles as ‘Sentinels of North East’ have been assisting the civil administration in extending basic health and hygiene services to the people in far-flung areas.
