AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): The horrifying social torture upon a 52 years old woman which shook the state, was met by CPI-M’s youth wing DYFI members led by Secretary Nabarun Deb.

The incident took place at Belonia Sidhhinagar village where the woman was bound to marry his relative by BJP anti-social groups and also assaulted her physically, later hospitalized in serious condition.

Along with Nabarun Deb leaders as Arindam Biswas, Kanika Pal, Poornima Sarkar remained present. They helped her primarily with some financial supports.

DYFI has demanded strict action against the miscreants who were involved in that criminal activity.
