AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): After OSD Dilip Roy, now Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s one more close official Kumar Alok sent out of Tripura Secretariat.
Reportedly, he will be appointed in Delhi as Tripura Bhawan’s Chief Resident Commissioner.
He was very close to the Chief Minister and came in controversy again and again due to his alleged ill treatment with Secretariat staffs.
With former Health Minister Sudip Barman also he had issues and Sudip Barman indirectly called him the ‘Black-Sheep’ of Secretariat.
Behind former Chief Secretary L.K.Gupta’s voluntary retirement also, he was allegedly responsible.
Due to his bad behavior even senior staffs were frustrated and with his departure Secretariat is happy, said a source.
However, another source said, like many more officials, Kumar Alok himself wanted to get out of Tripura due to Biplab Deb led systems here.
