AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): Assam Rifles as part of Tribal outreach programme conducted a Medical Camp in conjunction with PHC North Tripura at Bagbassa village, District North Tripura on 22 Feb 2020.
Medical team of Assam Rifles alongwith doctors from PHC provided medical treatment and counseling to 920 locals which includes 387 male, 401 female and 132 children who reached camp from remote villages. Interior parts of Tripura have limited medical facilities, in view of which Assam Rifles as ‘Sentinels of North East’ have been assisting the civil administration in extending basic health and hygiene services to the people in far-flung areas.
