AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): Shiva Chaturdashi fair to remain as “plastic free”, said a Govt official to media.

The official said that although Govt will do the campaigning, but still if anyone brings plastic then volunteers will exchange it with steel items and a minimum security money will be taken from them and at the end, that money will be returned once the person will give back those items after puja.

The local shop-keepers also have been instructed not to use any plastic item.

Shiv Chaturdashi will be observed tomorrow, that is, on Friday.
