DHARMANAGAR (North Tripura), Feb 18 (TIWN): District & Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Dharmanagar (GautamSarkar) convicted 02(two) accused namely (1) Md. Sadik (52) S/O Lt. Kush Mohammad Mahammed of Musalman Para, PS- Sonapur, District- South 24 Paragana(2) Sri BabluDhali (45) S/O Sri SushilDhali of ArsingriTangraKalani, PS- Bangaon, District- 24 Paragana West Bengal U/S 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act and sentenced to suffer R.I for 10 years with a pay of fine Rs. 1,00,000/-. This refers to Panisagar PS Case No. 2017PNS026, dated 10-08-17 U/S 20(b)(ii)(c) NDPS Act.
The case was investigated by SI Ranjit Debbarma of Panisagar PS (Now posted at Dharmanagar PS). During investigation I.O of the case had taken all efforts to complete investigation on priority basis. Based on evidences on record, the accused persons was arrested and forwarded to the Ld. Court. On completion of investigation, I.O had submitted the Charge-Sheet on 04-01-19 U/S 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act, against the FIR named accused persons namely (1) Md. Sadik (52) S/O Lt. Kush Mohammad Mahammed of Musalman Para, PS- Sonapur, District- South 24 Paragana (2) BabluDhali (45) S/O SushilDhali of ArsingriTangraKalani, PS- Bangaon, District- 24 Paragana West Bengal to face trial in the open court of law.
On completion of the trial, Sri GautamSarkar, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Dharmanagarconvicted the accused as stated above. Ld. PP Sri Partha Paul has conducted the case as Public Prosecutor.
