AGARTALA, Dec 21 (TIWN): CPI-M’s two student wings SFI and TSU have staged protest in Agartala city centre today voicing against the gang-rape of 15 years old girl in Sonamura.
Addressing media, SFI State Secretary Sandipan Deb said, “A Jungle-Raak is going on in Tripura and women are unable to save their deignity. Crimes and brutality against women are drastically increasing in Tripura. Sonamura’s gangrape incident is horrifying. The girl is in very critical condition and in last 20 months women from all ages are increasing everything. Women are not safe but CM Biplab Deb as if sleeping in cold”.
“To be silent on such crimes are not correct………….thus SFI, TSU are raising voice when crime against women have drastically increased”, said Sandipan Deb.
