AGARTALA,Dec 21 (TIWN): The Transport Dept has forgotten its aim to introduced Ola and Uber cabs in Agartala city, which was propagated in 2018 a lot.
Ola, Uber business in Tripura which concerned the auto drivers as these cabs may hit their Railway Passenger and Airport Passengers business heavily in coming days, for now no more discussed.
Ola Cabs, is an Indian transportation network company offering services that include peer-to-peer ridesharing, ride service hailing, taxi and food delivery.
Uber Technologies, Inc., commonly known as Uber, is an American multinational ride-hailing company offering services that include peer-to-peer ridesharing, ride service hailing, food delivery, and a micromobility system with electric bikes and scooters.
In Tripura it was pitched by the Transport Dept after Govt was changed that OLA and Uber to be introduced in state soon, but so far nothing was done, although Govt started fixed / metre auto systems.
