AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): ‘Freedom came in exchange of blood of Hindus, Muslims and all’, says DYFI leader on Kakori incident's martyrs death anniversary.
The term given by British as “Kakori Conspiracy” which was a train robbery that took place between Kakori and, near Lucknow, on 9 August 1925 during the Indian Independence Movement against the British Indian Government, was organised by Hindustan Republican Association had martyred 4 freedom fighters of India.
DYFI today has paid tribute to the martys.
Freedom fighters Asfaqullah Khan, Thakur Roshan Singh, Rajendra Lahiri, Ramprasad Bismil paid tribute on their death anniversary by DYFI. The martyrs were hanged by British in in this Kakori conspiracy.
Addressing on the occasion, DYFI leader Abhoy Mukharjee said that there is no need to describe how all religions’ people dedicated their lives for Indian freedom, but this is such a country which can not be divided on the basis of religions.
