AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Joint Movement Against Citizenship Ammendment Bill (JMACAB) , a Syndicate body of regional political parties declared the continuation of Strike for indefinite period , in protest against enforcement of CAB.
“Union home Minister Amit Shah has ignored our concern for existenmce, we wont accept CAB as it will endanger our tribal population in the State”, said Antony Debbarma ,convenor of JMACAB. Pointing the violence reported at few areas, Debbarma said, “ We condemn any sort of violence in the name of agitation and it will be the duty of law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order situation”.
In Agartala the agitation was peaceful , but in some areas situation got worsened. Leaders added, Tripura should be left out of the controversial Bill.
