TIWN Nov 26, 2019

Agartala, Nov 26 (TIWN): High Court postponed the Badal Chowdhury case hearing to Dec 2 State Govt Lawyers failed to produce required documents related to Ex-PWD Minister's illegal arrest.
As Badal Chowdhury's arrest in ILS Hospital itself was illegal on hospital bed with forcible finger stamps, so BJP Govt's Attorney General Arun Bhowmik, PP Ratan Datta failed to produce documents.
High Court fixed next date Dec 2,2019 for next hearing.
Addressing media, eminent Lawyer Bikas Ranjan Bhattacharjee said that the main appeal was that there is base in the FIR against Badal Choudhury and the whole case is fabricated when a Cabinet decision led the whole cost-plus issue in 2008.
When Justice asked Govt side to produce certain documents, the Advocate General failed to produce and sought time.
Considering the demand, the next hearing date has been kept on December 2nd and Govt has to produce those documents on that day.
