AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): Padma Shri awardee Olympian gymnast Dr Dipa Karmakar accompanied by her coach, Bishweshwar Nandi, visited the ongoing Advance Leadership Camp of NCC Cadets at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel, Agartala today. Addressing a vibrant gathering of 300 NCC Cadets belonging to various NCC Directorates in India, the Coach-Disciple duo shared their invaluable sporting experience with the young NCC Cadets and motivated them to adopt sports and physical fitness as a way of life.

The event was preceded  by a scintillating Martial- Arts display by the NCC Cadets  which was appreciated by the Olympian duo. The Dronacharya awardee coach also expressed his willingness to impart basic training to the potential gymnasts among the NCC Cadets of Tripura in future.
