AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): IPFT Tiparaha has hit BJP’s double politics saying BJP’s God father Shyama Prasad Mukharjee himself was against Article 370 but after 70 years, the BJP himself changed his ideology.

IPFT’s statement is fact as Mukherjee was strongly opposed to Article 370, seeing it as a threat to national unity. He fought against it inside and outside the parliament with one of the goals of Bharatiya Jana Sangh being its abrogation. He raised his voice strongly against the provision in his Lok Sabha speech on 26 June 1952.

However, the main purpose of the press meet was to seek support from any party if truly they want a separate Tipraland.

The party leaders also slammed NC Debbarma led IPFT asking them to quit Ministry if they love their people.

The IPFT (Tipraha) believes Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) is the main obstacle against indigenous existence and only Tipraland can rescue the Tiprasa as once CAB is implemented then NRC will lose its value.
