AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): Once again, the uncontrolled Law and Order of Tripura was exposed in a Govt move after West District administration failed to provide security to a festival rally on Sunday at Agartala.

The organizers said that they are observing this rally every year but never faced such situations and never their permission was cancelled.

Addressing media Babul Mia, member of the rally organizing committee said, “We have always observed this day with full enthusiasm and never any law and order issue was raised. But, what answer should we give to the people who have come from across the state ? Why the administration can not protect us ?”

Eid-e-Milad which is known to be one of the most important festivals, marks the birthday of Prophet Mohammad who is referred to as the Messenger of God in Islam. This rally was organized on this occasion.

It can be mentioned here that earlier, BJP Govt did same with a regional party INPT and then lost face in the High Court. High Court made it clear that people have 100% and equal right in this country to practice their own rights. 

However, the organizers whether will go to the Court or not, it has not been declared yet.
