AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing in a Kali puja programme at Dharmanagar, in North Tripura, claimed that only developmental works can not help a party to win the election.

He cited example, if only building and construction can bring developments, then why people would not demand 7 star hotels if 5 star hotels are existing.

It can be mentioned here, the BJP Govt before the election promised to give 50,000 Govt jobs in the first year, regularize all fixed pay employees and also the contractual employees, but after 19 months of the Govt, state has seen only termination, massive taxation, scrapping of free medical services.
