AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): Reacting over the allegations of unemployment, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has raised a question, if only Govt jobs are meant for “Employmentâ€, then why not Anil Ambani and Ratan Tata too are unemployed ?
CM said this while addressing in Durga puja’s programme in the evening of Astami at United Club in Belonia, South Tripura in the presence of MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmik. Biplab Deb said, “Tripura’s unemployment rate dropped from 7.75 lakhs to 2.56 lakh as 4.75 lakhs became job creators”.

“Before the election, I also said that Tripura has 8 lakhs unemployed youths. But income (Rojgaar) does not mean only Govt jobs. If Govt jobs had meant employment then Ratan Tata, Anil Ambani are too unemployed”, CM put his logic and claimed 4.75 lakhs became job creators in Tripura in last 18 months.
