GUWAHATI, Oct 24 (TIWN): Bangladesh commerce minister Tipu Munshi on Tuesday commented in Indo-Bangladesh meeting at Guwahati that Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb is “Half Indian, Half Tripuriâ€.
He said Biplab Deb lives in Tripura but his heart is at Bangladesh.

His statement is comically viral in Tripura whereas in Assam various TV channels are sensitively showing this news.
Soon the Minister’s statement went viral in social media across Northeast.
Earlier a report in Tripura said with footage of Citizenship Certificate of Biplab Deb’s father which was issued on 27th June, 1967, 3 years before 1971. Biplab Deb born in 25 November 1971 at Udaipur (Tripura) hospital.
