AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Oct 18 (TIWN): Police continues search for Opposition party MLA Badal Choudhury 24X7.

After suspension of SP West Ajit Pratap Singh and removal of Arindam Nath from the DIG post, replacement of I/O in Badal Choudhury case, police dept is demoralized, under fear and also reeling in resentments.

In this condition, however, search operations for the MLA continues without pause. In the evening police force was seen at Sankar Chowmuhani, Agartala.

After the raid however, nothing was found, neither Badal Choudhury was spotted.

In various houses of Sankar Chowmuhani raid for Badal Choudhury was held and police reportedly checked Almira, under the Bed if they find out Badal Choudhury.

The search began from 16th October since his anticipatory bail of Choudhury was rejected by District court.
