AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): A 15 years minor girl was raped by her relative at Sidhai on 3rd October.

The incident took place when the girl came to visit her maternal grandfather’s home. at Mekhlibon Basti under Sidhar PS.

Husband of the victim’s aunt (in Bengali ‘mashi’) Kamal Sarkar has allegedly raped her.

At first the victim out of fear didn’t tell anyone whereas later after she told family members about this incident FIR was lodged in Sidhai PS.

Police have immediately arrested the accused Kamal Sarkar.

Allegation raised, Kamal Sarkar is actually a Bangladeshi, was residing in his law’s home for last few years.
