AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): In an attack allegedly by ruling BJP miscreants, many CPI-M supporters were injured at South Tripura’s Belonia District today.

The CPI-M supporters were going to homes after completing a party programme at Bir Chandra Manu of Belonia. This is the day known as martyrs day for CPI-M and also known historically as Bir Chandra Manu massacre which killed masses in 1988 in this same day under the Congress Govt.

Today it was 32^nd year of that brutal massacre.

CPI-M state committee has condemned the attack via press releases. Among all injured persons 4 were hospitalized, said CPI-M.
