AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): Former Minister, CPI-M leader Manik Dey on Friday while addressing media in Comrade Haradhan Saha’s martyr day said that earlier also with sensitive issues, main issues of the society were attempted to be suppressed and till now the attempt is going on.

Manik Dey categorically mentioned about “Tipraland” and “Poila Jali Ulo Party” like slogans saying such slogans are aimed to create turmoil in the society to suppress the actual voice and to help the ruling party to stay in the power.

“The discussions should be about food, employment, works but in Tripura separatism and at centre communalism are being used to down the real voice”, said Manik Dey.

Dey said, unity, democracy must be maintained for development and at nationalistic approach.
