AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Social Welfare Minister Santana Chakma has participated in an awareness rally conducted by Indian Physiotherapy Society.
World Mental Health Day is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. It was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more than 150 countries.
While addressing, Social Welfare Minister Santana Chakma said that this type of psychological problems are destroying the world and burdening the lives. She suggested further people to share personal problems, emotions with others.
Importance of Exercise : The benefits of exercise come directly from its ability to reduce insulin resistance, reduce inflammation, and stimulate the release of growth factors—chemicals in the brain that affect the health of brain cells, the growth of new blood vessels in the brain, and even the abundance and survival of new brain cells.
“This year we are focusing on Suicide Prevention. Join us in raising awareness of the scale of suicide around the & play a role to help prevent it”, WHO tweeted.
