AGARTALA, Oct 8 (TIWN): Under the BJP led State Govt, Dasami celebration was first ever witnessed at CM’s quarter today as Chief Minister Biplab Deb announced to celebrate this day with the common men of Tripura.

CM Biplab Deb and his wife Niti Deb welcomed the people who came to meet the couple on the auspicious Bijoya-Dasami.

CM and his wife also distributed sweets to the people came there.

Various social organizations and apolitical personalities visited CM’s quarter in the Shyama Prasad Mukharjee colony.

Addressing media, Chief Minister Biplab Deb said that it is very important for us to hold the culture and tradition in which we are rooted.

Mrs Deb talked about the significance of Dasami which means win of good over evil.

This day is known as “Bijaya Dasami”, marking the end of Durga puja for a year.
