Hilsa fish prices shoot up to Rs. 1200 to Rs. 1600 ahead of Dasami in Agartala

AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Ahead of Dasami, Hilsa Price has spiked at Rs. 1200 / 1600 in Tripura.
In Tripura Hilsas were sold even at Rs. 600/- and at West Bengal it downed at Rs. 400/- but when it comes about Dasami time, it’s the high time for business as Bengali foodies have no other option in their minds apart from Hilsa or Pabda fish.
After 3 days of Vegetable foods on Saptami, Astami and Navami public have rushed to meat / fish markets on Navami evening.
At Agartala’s Battala meat market the price went high on the occasion of Dasami, whereas across the state the situation of meat markets are more or less same.
