AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): Under DM West Sandeep Mahatme’s order, 29 licensed shops were sealed for 4 days of Durga puja.

Police said, it will control the law and order problems and prevent crimes. The ban on the wine shops to remain from Oct 5 to October 8.

Any person found violating the rules, will be punished under law and his license will be cancelled.

Police have demanded public’s cooperation in this matter.

On being asked by media about the unlicensed liquor business, police said strict patrolling will be existing for that too.
