AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Sabroom DCM Uttam Das has saved a boy who was badly-treated by his step-mother.

The incident took place at Sabroom Nagar Panchayat’s 6-No ward.

The 8 years boy Rajdeeep Nath who studies in class 2 was in suffocating situation. His step mother was physically torturing him with stick, heated rod etc. Rajdeep was bound to do all works including toilet cleaning.

The brutal step mother has been identified as Bipula Nath, Wife of – Jagadish Debnath.

The child was rescued and taken to a child-care home by the DCM.
