AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): Poll personnel appointed for by-election at Badharghat assembly constituency were engaged in the first phase of mock poll drills led by SDM Sadar.

The authorities are currently engaged in commissioning Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) for the polls.

71 polling stations will be in the Badharghat 14 constituency and on the election date i.e. 23rd September VVPAT and EVMs will be like normal elections.Preparations for the election has been started by State Election commission for the vacated seat in Badharghat.
