AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): A dog smuggler Jarendra Reang (23) arrested while smuggling dogs in Mizoram by Kanchanpur police.

Kanchanpur  SI-Nupruita Hala getting informed via secret sources did the operation and caught the smuggler red-handed.

Reang was caught at Santipur Nak-point who was carrying 5 dogs bearing number TR 02 T 02 01.

Kanchanpur OC-Paritosh Das said that the vehicle came from Mungiakami and via Kanchanpur-Damchara was going towards Mizoram..

At Mizoram, Aizawl per kilo Dog’s meat are sold at Rs. 700 to Rs. 800.
