DHARMANAGAR (North Tripura), Sep 12 (TIWN): On 12-09-19, the Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, North Tripura, Dharmanagar (Govinda Das) convicted one accused namely Dilip Paul @ Pintu (43) S/O Dhirendra Paul of Ragna, Ward No. 04, PS- Dharmanagar U/S 354 IPC and sentenced to suffer R.I for 03 (three) years with a fine of Rs. 3000/-, I.D to further suffer S.I for 03 (three) months and U/S 506 IPC Pay a fine of Rs. 3,000/-, I.D to further suffer S.I for 03 (three) months. This refer to Dharmanagar Women PS Case No. 2019WDN015 dated 15-05-19 U/S 354/506 IPC.

The case was investigated by WSI Swarna Debbarma OC Dharmanagar Women PS. During investigation I.O of the case had taken all efforts to complete investigation on priority basis. Based on evidences on record, the accused person was arrested and forwarded to the Ld. Court. On completion of investigation, I.O had submitted the Charge-Sheet on 29-05-19 U/S 354/506 IPC against the FIR named accused person namely Dilip Paul @ Pintu (43) S/O Sri Dhirendra Paul of Ragna, Ward No. 04, PS- Dharmanagar North Tripura to face trial in the open court of law.

On completion of the trial,  Govinda Das, Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, North Tripura, Dharmanagar convicted the accused as stated above. Ld. APP Shri Biswajit Das has conducted the case as Assistant Public Prosecutor.
