AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister of Congress Samir Barman’s Z category escort was removed by State BJP Govt.

Congress former President Gopal Roy along with other Congress leaders rushed to Barman’s home last night to give him moral support.

Ex-MLA cum Ex-CLP leader Gopal Roy was extremely angry over the decision of the Govt.

Hitting the Govt’s decision Gopal Roy said, “I am very much shocked with the decision taken by the Govt. It is the rarest of the rare incidents across India”.

On being asked by media, Gopal Roy said that he will contact State Congress President Pradyot Manikya in this regard who is in Delhi now.

However, it’s quite surprising that State Congress President Pradyot Manikya remained silent over the decision of the State Govt against Samir Barman. 

 Pradyot Manikya kept himself busy in Delhi with ex-terrorist leaders TNV Supremo Bijoy Hrankhawl, flown them to Delhi and arranged meeting with Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
