AGARTALA, Aug 20 (TIWN): Aralia route auto drivers have gheraoed East Agartala Police Station on Tuesday evening seeing no action taken by police after an auto driver was beaten mercilessly by drunk hooligans in the Motorstand.

Followed by the gherao a meeting has been called at 8.30 pm in the police station and a decision will be taken after that. The action taking is becoming tough as the hooligans are unknown.

The auto drivers said, they know the hooligans very well but by face not by name.

The hooligans also disturb girls, taunt them and create turmoil across the Motorstand area.
