Tripura’s surrendered militants demanded escorts

AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): Tripura United Indigenous Peoples Council (TUIPC) alleged Tripura Govt has withdrawn the security of the surrendered militants. They have demanded their securities back.
They alleged that this decision was taken by the Govt even without having any discussion with them.
TUIPC is an umbrella organization of the surrendered militants groups of Tripura.
The BJP-led government had recently withdrawn security of all the surrendered militants including Bijay Hrangkhel, Lalit Debbarma, Dhananjay Debbarma and Ananta Debbarma, NE Now news media has reported.
