AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): Kishore Kumar’s birth anniversary was celebrated in Tripura with total enthusiasm.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb has inaugurated the main programme at Rabindra Bhawan. CM has called people to join in art and culture development regardless any political and other stereotypes.
Kishore Kumar was an Indian playback singer, actor, music director, lyricist, film story writer, film director, producer and screenwriter.
Addressing in the occasion, Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, “There is nothing to be introduced about Kishore Kumar that I have to introduce. But our Govt has focused on this cultural ground’s development and allocating various lands for such cultural centres”.
Biplab Deb said 200 crores will be invested to make Tripura a Cultural-Hub.
410 cultural programmes have been planned for 2019-20 and 3.72 crores will be invested.
“Tripura has 19 tribes which has various types of cultures. Govt is determine to develop all folk cultural and to rejuvenate all lost traditional dances, songs etc”, said Deb.
