AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Govt of Tripura has declared scheme guidelines of Transformation of Aspirational Blocks Programmes for the RD dept.

According to some paper records, it has been known that the transformation aims to expeditiously transform 12 blocks across the state, in a transparent manner.

Central to the programme are : Convergence of Central and State schemes, Collaboration of State and Central level officers, District Collectors and competition among blocks.

Areas of focus will be : 1) Health & Nutrition, 2) Education, 3) Agriculture and Water resources, 4) Basic infrastructure including access to roads, potable water and rural electrification, 5) Livelihood opportunities and skill development, 6) Financial inclusion.

All depts will have to ensure 8-10% higher allocation under all schemes in the identified blocks during 3 years period of 2019-22.
