147 schools in Tripura have students less than 10

AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): In a shocking revelation, Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath told media here that Tripura is having 147 schools where numbers of students are less than 10.
Out of these schools, Govt of Tripura has selected 20 schools which will be given in private hands with conditions and confirmations to follow Educational guidelines.
A company named ‘Indian Tribal Caring Trust’ will meet the need of the project of State Govt.
Already 6 schools in Tripura are under this company : 1) Manubakul, 2) Amarpur, 3) Ananda Bazar, 4) Satnala, 5) Bamutia, 6) Karamchara.
Minimum students number will have to be 30 if the company takes over the charge, said the Education Minister.
