AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 20 (TIWN): On June 12, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has inaugurated sugar-ratioing system in Tripura at Rs. 23 per kilo. However, now sugar stocks have been done before it will start distribution from tomorrow across ration shops.
All ration card holders will be getting 1 kilo of sugar under govt-subsidy from this month.
On June 12, while addressing, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has slammed the previous Communist Govt alleging it was failed to distribute proper ratioing to the people.
The programme was organized at Agartala Town Hall in this purpose. Per Kilo sugar’s price will be Rs. 23. Tripura Govt will give subsidy of Rs. 17.80.
Chief Minister announced that the state govt will think over to give cooking oil under subsidy in coming days.
