AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): In another move to boost tourism, Govt of Tripura announced subvention scheme 2019 -2021 to strengthen the tourism industry.
The scheme namely “Paryatan Sahayak Prakalp” to promote entrepreneurship to be set up by Tripura Govt after July 1st 2019, an official said.
The details of the benefits and incentives under the scheme which shall be offered to the tourism enterprises come into effect from 1st July and will remain force for 3 years.
The scheme shall be ending on 30th June, 2021.
Already State Govt has kicked off many projects including renovation of various places and reliving of historical places and funds are being sanctioned step by step to develop tourist spots.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb on June 15 has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi after the 5th NITI Aayog session was ended successfully. Various demands for state’s development was placed before the PM by the CM including roadway projects, tourism etc. Also to add more beauties special construction has been started with Chabimura, Matabari.
